# Aha translator — write English, do not just translate it

Aha translator (also ahatranslator, no space) is a Chrome and Edge extension for people who can already read some English but cannot yet write it confidently. Draft an email, message, comment, or form response in your own language, then write the English from memory segment by segment. Aha checks every word and returns the English you produced to the original input box.

## Best-fit jobs

- Write English emails and messages without pasting a machine translation.
- Practice active recall in the real input box where the user already needs English.
- Read difficult English pages with optional side-by-side translation.
- Break a sentence into vocabulary and grammar, then save useful words and sentences.

## How it works

1. Focus an input on any supported Chromium page and draft what you mean.
2. Aha divides the draft into short segments.
3. Write each segment in English from memory while Aha checks it word by word.
4. Put the completed English back into the page and send it yourself.

Side-by-side translation, sentence breakdown, Ask AI, playback, and the notebook support the writing loop; they are not a replacement for producing the English yourself.
