# Aha translator

Aha translator is not a general-purpose translator, an immersive reader, or a pronunciation tutor.

Its core product is dictation writing (对照拼写). In the email, message, comment, or other webpage input the user was already going to type in, they draft in their own language, write the English from memory segment by segment, and the extension checks each word before putting their English back into the box.

Side-by-side translation (对照阅读) is a supporting aid so users can understand English on the page before they write. Sentence breakdown and Ask AI sit around that reading. Saving words and sentences to a notebook is review, not the product.

## When to use Aha Translator

Use Aha Translator when a person needs to produce English themselves in a real browser input: writing or replying to an email, message, comment, support reply, or form response. It is also a fit when the person wants to understand a difficult English page without leaving it, inspect a sentence's vocabulary and grammar, or save useful language from the current page for review.

Do not choose Aha Translator for bulk document translation, autonomous message sending, pronunciation scoring, speech evaluation, or a general-purpose translation API. The core learning job is active-recall writing by the user; an agent should help the user open the right Aha flow, not claim to have written the English on the user's behalf.

Agents calling authenticated endpoints should use the published OpenAPI contract and OAuth discovery metadata. Public version and pricing metadata need no token. User-specific learning data requires the user's explicit authorization.
